Former Spartan Begins Collegiate Coaching Career

Westerville, OH (August 12, 2004) Matt Morneault begins his coaching career this fall as an assistant coach at Otterbein College where he will be coaching the running backs.

A three-year starter and letterman at offensive guard for the Cardinals, Morneault received his bachelor's degree in sport management from Otterbein in 2004. During his college career he received the prestigious Harry W. Ewing Award, presented annually to an outstanding Otterbein football senior who embodies the qualities of pride, commitment and dedication

Morneault spent two summers as a volunteer assistant football coach at Valley View High School in 2001 and 2002. This past summer, he served as camp supervisor for the City of Westerville (OH). Coach Morneault will begin work on his MBA this fall at Otterbein.
