C-J Too Much for Spartans
Springboro, OH (February 18, 2005)— Number two-seed Chaminade-Julienne went on a 2-18, third quarter scoring spree, to down the Spartans 65-33 in first-round tournament action.
The scoring drought was made evident in the first quarter when Valley View took 5:58 to get their first basket rounding out the 4-point quarter. Chaminade fouls in the second quarter helped the Spartans play catch-up but the damage had already been done, setting up the fateful third.
Valley View finishes the season 7-14 overall.
