Local Information
The Historical Society of Germantown museum is open to the public May through December. Hours are Saturday from 10:00 a.m, to 12:30 p.m. and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Historical Society relies on the generosity of member volunteers to keep the museum open. If you can serve as host/hostess in the musuem on any Saturday or Sunday, please call the Society at 855-7951 or Barbara Wachter at 855-2064.
Board meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Twin Creek Garden Club
The Twin Creek Garden Club is a social, non-profit organization dedicated to helping our residents develop friendships and beautify the community. The club has been providing a forum for residents in the Germantown/Farmersville area and surrounding communities to meet, garden and make lasting friendships for over 50 years.

United Church Karate Club
Free karate classes are offered from 5:15-8:00 pm on Tuesday, 6-8 pm on Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday
Free Childhood immunizations
Farmersville United Church of Christ, 42 S. Broadway, on the second Wednesday of each month from 4-6 pm. Vacinnes are available for all children 17 and under. Further information may be obtained by calling the Combined Health District at 937.225-4550.
Become involved in your Community!
Attend a Village Council or Township Trustee's meeting. There are many committees and boards looking for volunteers. Call your Village or Township office for more details.
